What’s special about this guitar: This is a great sounding Clipper in very good overall shape for a vintage guitar! The pickup sounds great, the finish looks awesome and the neck is straight and in great shape for a guitar this old! This instrument has a super cool and authentic vintage vibe and the neck feels great.
Condition: Very good shape overall. This guitar has just the right amount of scratches, nicks, dings, dents and weather checking to give it that authentic vintage look. There is a small finish blemish on the back which has been touched up by hand. The binding is cracking in some areas but has developed a gorgeous patina! Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear with heavier wear towards the lower registers. The neck is nice and straight with very comfortable, low action. The truss rod functions fine. The pickguard is missing, otherwise all electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound body with maple top, back and sides in sunburst finish. Trapeze Gretsch tailpiece, rosewood-based space roller bridge, dual Gretsch Arrow control knobs and dual F-holes.
Neck: Slender neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Open-gear tuners with ivoroid buttons, 24.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original HiLoTron pickup in the neck with master volume and tone controls.
Pickup: 3.24K Ohms.

Playability/Sound: This is an awesome sounding Clipper! The HiLoTron sounds great and does a beautiful job of capturing the tone of the hollow body. The slender neck is in great shape and makes playability effortless!
