Description

What makes this guitar special: A great vintage player, with tons of character and charm. This piece shows all the marks of its age, while still maintaining its structural integrity and sounding terrific. Completely original save for the pickguard, it’s the perfect piece for the collector on a budget, or a player looking to add some vintage flair to their lineup. This piece comes professionally inspected and setup by our expert in-house luthier, so it will arrive ready to play.

Cosmetic condition: Good condition for its age, with all the right wear for a 50-year old piece. There are various nicks, dings, scratches, dents, scuffs, and spots of finish wear throughout the body, as well as some expected finish checking, and oxidation on the hardware.

Body: Solid double cutaway mahogany body in cherry finish with single-ply replacement white pickguard, compensated bridge and vibrato tailpiece. The cherry finish has aged nicely over the years, providing a very cool vintage aesthetic.

Weight: 5lb, 10.6oz

Neck: Comfortably rounded medium profile mahogany neck with aged white side dots and mother-of-pearl dot inlays. Rosewood fingerboard is in great shape with no pitting, and while frets do show some wear, they still have a ton of life left in them. 1 9/16” nut width, 24 1/2" scale length. Batwing headstock with gold Epiphone logo and original Kluson Deluxe tuners, in perfect working condition. Neck is straight and truss rod is functioning.

Electronics: Original single-coil pickup (7.14K ohms) with grooved knobs, 1x volume, 1x tone. Pots date to ’66 and all electronics are in excellent working condition.

Case: Unoriginal hard shell case included.
