Description
What makes this guitar special: Made only for a short period of time from the mid to late '60s, this gorgeous semi-hollow shows off a beautiful trans red finish with a super comfortable neck. Super cool vintage vibe & comes with a pro set up, so it plays & sounds amazing!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition for a nearly 50-year old guitar. Various minor nicks & dings; light surface scratches & mild finish checking. Unfortunately the pickguard is missing, but we still have the bracket.
Neck: Nicely rounded, B-shape maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. "F" logo tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck date is 19 FEB 67 B.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with bound F-holes. The trans red finish looks incredible & has an almost orange tone to it - very cool indeed! There's a really old oval decal on the back of the body just below the neck plate. The sticker reads Anderson Music Center Inc, which is most likely the name of the music shop from which the guitar originally sold. Tremolo tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge. Again, the pickguard is missing, but the original side bracket & screws are included. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 12 oz.
Pickups: Original Fender single coils with embossed covers. Dual volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
