Description
What makes this guitar special: A magnificent sounding 12-string dreadnought with clear, bell-like tones & sustain that goes on forever. A smooth, comfortable neck allows for hours of playing enjoyment. Featuring a gorgeous 3-piece Brazilian rosewood back & Sitka spruce top that has aged beautifully over the past 50 years. Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case, this one's a keeper!
Cosmetic Condition: Fantastic condition for being 50 years old! The entire guitar was professionally refinished quite some time ago in a very thin nitro, so it still retains that ultra cool vintage look. The neck was also professionally reset & refretted, so the guitar plays like a dream up the down the fretboard. There's an ever so tiny top crack down on the lower bout, treble side that was professionally repaired prior to the refin, so it's practically impossible to detect unless you're really looking for it. Overall the guitar has just a gorgeous, clean look to it & sounds absolutely amazing, not to mention so much fun to play!
Neck: Rounded mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Slotted headstock with rosewood overlay. Six-on-a-side tuners with cream buttons in perfect working condition. 1 7/8" nut width; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & plays great up & down the fretboard.
Body: Slope shoulder dreadnought in natural finish. Solid Sitka spruce top with 6-ply binding. Ebony belly bridge with cream end pins. Black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid Brazilian rosewood sides & 3-piece back with 3-ply binding. The Brazilian has a very chocolatey look to it with nice variegation throughout. There is no pickup; guitar weighs 4 lbs 15.8 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The original handle broke & was replaced with a leather one, but the original is included with the guitar.
