Description
Condition: This is an awesome vintage guitar with excellent playability and sound. There are various scratches, nicks, dings, dents and weather checking throughout the finish. There is a very light pitting in the finish on the back and some of the deeper dents and scratches have been filled in with paint by hand. There are a few cracks around the pickguard screws near the control knobs. These are not affecting playability whatsoever. Fingerboard and frets have only moderate play wear. The nut has been replaced and shows some excess glue. The neck is very straight and the truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid double-cutaway body in red finish. Top-load vibrato tailpiece with six individual saddles and a trem arm. Dual skirted control knobs with “F’ logo insert and a 3-ply aged white pickguard.
Neck: Nicely rounded slender maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1 5/8” nut. Sealed Fender tuners with ivoroid buttons, 24” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Single-coil pickup in the bridge with master volume and tone controls.
Pickup: 5.45K Ohms.
Weight: 7lbs, 10.5oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a great playing vintage guitar. The simple control layout makes dialing in a great sound easy. The tone control can be rolled back for a warmer sound if desired. The neck is exceptionally comfortable and suitable for virtually any playing style.
