Cosmetic Condition: Cool vintage vibe with a gorgeous patina. This guitar came out of an 80-piece private collection that we just recently acquired. It's got a great look & feel to it with a pro set up done by us. There are various small nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & weather checking. The neck feels very comfortable & is easy to play. Overall the guitar has a wonderful look to it & is destined to be a real crowd pleaser.
Neck: Maple neck & fingerboard with black dot inlays. Refretted & the frets are in great shape with barely any wear. Large headstock with bullet truss rod & double string trees. The guitar had different tuners on at one time as evidenced by the filled holes underneath the current F tuners. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in natural finish. 3-ply cream pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Tremolo tailpiece with adjustable saddles. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 13 oz.
Pickups: Original grey bottom single coils. Bridge - 5.48K ohms; Middle - 5.53K ohms; Neck - 5.56K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls. The volume knob is a bit lighter in color than the two tone knobs, so it may not be original. The original 3-way selector switch was replaced with a 5-way. Pots date to '72 & all electronics are in good working condition.
