Description

What makes this guitar special: This Swedish made beauty is unbelievably resonant. The solid mahogany construction is bulletproof, and it’s in super clean condition for its age. The stock humbuckers have a ton of bite and clarity, and the piece itself is adorned with several quality features throughout. The serial number dates this piece to batch 910, as one of 500 made in that batch in 1974. It’s been professionally setup by our in house luthier, so it will arrive ready to play.

Cosmetic condition: Terrific shape for its age, with some light wear and tear throughout. Various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, and scuffs, with some buckle rash on the back and a few small areas of finish checking. The top of the headstock does show some scuffing and chipping. Overall, this one is remarkably clean for its age, with a super cool vintage vibe.

Body: Solid mahogany body with bound mahogany top in natural finish with black 3-ply pickguard.

Weight: 9 lb, 3.6 oz

Neck: Solid double bound bolt-on mahogany neck with black side dots and mother-of-pearl block inlays. Ebony fingerboard is in great shape! Original frets show almost no wear. Bound headstock with pearl Hagstrom logo and Fleur de Lis. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.

Electronics: Dual humbuckers (Bridge-9.91k ohms, Neck-8.19k ohms) with 3-way tone selector switch, 3-way pickup selector switch and black tophat knobs, 2x volume, 2x tone. The 3-way pickup selector switch has been replaced. The 3-way tone selector switch is a little stiff, but works fine.

Case: Epiphone hard shell case included.
