Description
Cosmetic Condition: A rare '70s fretless P-Bass in a beautiful natural finish. You typically see fretless P-Basses with rosewood fingerboards, but this one is maple & looks stunning with the all natural wood appearance & black pickguard. Overall it's in very nice shape, with some minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & light finish wear. The bass has been oversprayed, but all the components are original. It's been professionally set up by us with a fresh pack of strings & low action, so it plays & sounds great!
Neck: Very comfortable maple neck with black dot inlays. Chrome Fender tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Truss rod works fine & neck plays great up & down the fingerboard.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in natural finish with 3-ply pickguard & thumb-rest. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable saddles & bridge cover. Bass weighs 9 lbs 12.5 oz.
Pickup: Original P-Bass split single coil with master volume & tone controls. Pickups date to '77; pots date to '76. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Period-correct Fender hardshell case included.
