Description
What makes this guitar special: A punchy rumbler with awesome tone and a great vintage look, this Victory Standard is a rock n roll machine! The Gibson Special Design humbucker has a burly and booming tone, with terrific resonance and versatility. The rosewood fingerboard is smooth and comfortable, making maneuverability up and down the nicely rounded maple neck a breeze, while the deep cutaway body allows the player easy access to all 24 frets. Setup by our in-house technician with fresh strings and low action, this beauty will play great right out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: All the right wear, with tons of vintage mojo-various scratches, nicks, scuffs, dings, and chips throughout the body, with some finish wear on the lower bout where the arm rest, and on the back of the neck. There are a few areas of weather checking, and there is some visible oxidation on the hardware.
Body: Solid maple body in red finish, 5-ply black pickguard, and diecast Gibson bridge with individually adjustable saddles.
Weight: 11lb, 3oz
Neck: Rounded maple neck with gray side dots and offset gray dot inlays. Rosewood fingerboard is in good shape, and frets have a good amount of life left in them despite showing some wear. Headstock sports a black overlay with gold Gibson logo and open gear Gibson tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16” nut width, 34” scale length. Neck is straight and plays great up and down the fretboard.
Electronics: Gibson Special Design humbucker with black speed knobs, 1x tone, 1x volume, and 2-way toggle switch.
Case: Unoriginal hard shell case included.
