Description
Condition: This is a beautiful 80s Strat in great overall shape for its age! Cosmetically there are some scratches, scuffs and a few small nicks and dings throughout the finish. The bridge tension screw is missing and one control knobs is unoriginal. Otherwise all parts are in great working shape. Fingerboard and frets have only light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is mostly straight and the truss rod functions fine. This early model features a unique locking fine tune mechanism behind the nut. The screws on this piece may be replaced but it works perfectly. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured alder body in sunburst finish. Top-load Freeflyte bridge with six individual saddles. Trem arm is missing. Skirted control knobs, slider switch and a single-ply whit pickguard.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with skunk stripe down the back. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Locking fine-tune mechanism on the headstock just behind the nut, sealed Fender tuners and a 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Fender single-coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with master volume and tone controls and a 5-way selector switch.

Playability/Sound: This is a great sounding 80s Strat! The pickups sound excellent and the simple control layout allows the player to dial in a great sound fast. The neck is exceptionally comfortable and suitable for virtually any playing style.
