Description
What makes this guitar special: One of the last Fullerton made P’s, built using the old machines and tooling that crafted thirty years of classic instruments preceding it. This one sports all the features of a Fullerton made bass, with the deeper contours and the slightly slimmer body profile, and sports a very cool and balanced black & white look. Pots date to ’84, and the neck dates to May of ’84-all components are original and this beauty plays great. Professionally setup by the experts at Cream City Music, it’ll arrive ready to play out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Pretty good overall shape, with some expected light playwear throughout-various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, and scuffs, with some buckle rash and mild fretwear. One of the mounting screws for the pickguard is missing. The upper strap button was moved slightly, and the mounting screw for the original is snapped off next to it (see photos).
Body: Contoured double cutaway solid alder body in black finish with single ply white pickguard and top loading 4-saddle bridge.
Weight: 10 lb, 3.5 oz
Neck: Slim C-shaped maple neck with black side dots and black dot inlays. 1 13/16” nut width, 34” scale length. Maple fingerboard is in great shape, and while frets show some wear, they have a lot of life left. Fender Hipshot tuners work great. Neck is straight and truss rod works fine.
Electronics: Original split single coil pickup in the middle position with cream covered pickup cover and knurled chrome knobs, 1x tone, 1x volume.
Case: Original hard shell case included.
