Description: 1930s Vintage Gibson Roy Smeck Stage De Luxe Acoustic Hawaiian Guitar
Condition: Very good overall! This is a beautiful sounding very rare guitar in exceptional condition for its age. This is an original rounded neck guitar, not a conversion model! There is one repaired crack between the upper and lower bass side bouts on the side of the guitar (see photos). The repair is holding together fine. Various surface scratches, nicks dings and dents throughout the instrument. There is consistent weather checking throughout the guitar and a gorgeous patina on the binding giving this guitar an awesome vintage vibe and character! One tuner gear was replaced as the original was chewed up. It now functions properly (see photos). Neck is very straight. Aside from the crack there are no other structural issues or repairs. All parts are in perfect working condition.
