Description
What makes this guitar special? This is a great playing guitar with a unique history and ultimately classic look. Best known as stemming from the lawsuit era, this guitar finds itself remarkably close to an ES-175 in terms of both look and sound. The hollow body construction yields a genuine woody response acoustically that translates beautifully into its electric tone. The Super 70 pickups have great tone across the board and provide classic humbucker sound with full and warm response highlighted here by a surprisingly nice top end with a good amount of definition. The neck is very easy to play, the controls are intuitive, and the stained sides wonderfully complement the top and back’s Sunburst finish.
Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall, especially considering its age. It does possess various small dings, dents, and chips, as well as some scratches and normal wear throughout, but is still very clean for a 40-year-old guitar. The frets show only light wear and still have a ton of playing time left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod is functioning.
