What makes this guitar special: An all mahogany LP Classic with superb tone & feel. The original pickups were swapped out by the previous owner & the guitar is currently fitted with a vintage Gretsch Super Axe humbucker in the neck position & an earlier Gibson Pat No humbucker in the bridge. Both pickups sound fantastic & compliment each other well. The guitar has been professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with some typical light play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches.
Neck: Slim tapered mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl holly inlay & Classic truss rod cover. Gibson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Chambered mahogany body & mahogany top with cream binding. Unoriginal stopbar tailpiece & Callaham bridge with nickel hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard & metal jackplate. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 4.4 oz.
Electronics: Vintage Gretsch Super Axe neck humbucker - 8.51K ohms; Gibson Pat No bridge humbucker - 7.54K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
