Description

Dreadbox is well-known for pushing the boundaries of effects pedals, and the Raindrops carries forward in that legacy. Blending rich delay effects with reverb and pitch modulation, the Raindrops is perfect for players who love experimental pedals and want something with a unique sonic character.

Raindrops is a stereo delay pedal, making it perfect for players who want more control over their delay sound. It's capable of delivering a wide array of top-notch tones, courtesy of its three programs: modulated delay, delay with pitch shifting, and lusting reverb. The lusting reverb mode is particularly cool - it's dreamy, modern, and perfect for creating lush, cinematic tones with long trails.

Once a user selects their preferred mode, they can fine-tune their sound via the onboard controls. Players can set their delay time anywhere from 50ms to 1 second, with a bit of dirt and breakup being introduced around the 700ms mark. They can also adjust the wet/dry mix as well as the amount of feedback present in the delay effect. After a player has dialed in their favorite sound, they can save it to one of the Raindrop's presets to be recalled later.

Complete with a tap tempo footswitch, the Dreadbox Raindrops is an excellent choice for players who want to introduce experimental-sounding delays and reverbs to their live sound.
