These pickups have flat-staggered pole pieces and shellac coating for wide-ranging, heavy tone. These are excellent pickups that provide an extra layer of tonal versatility, and you'll only find them in the American Performers. Plus, the exceptional Greasebucket tone circuitry adds even more tonal layers to be uncovered. The American Performer also features a modern "C" shaped neck, 19 medium-jumbo frets, and a 9.5" radius fingerboard, which contribute to this Precision Bass's remarkable playability and rock-solid in-hand feel.
