Description
The Vintage Custom 1959 Stratocaster hearkens back to the introduction of the 3 Color Sunburst finish to Strats, and is one of Fender Custom Shop’s finest guitars. The Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst finish is supplemented by a slab rosewood fingerboard with vintage clay dot inlays, which is perfectly contoured from 7.25” to 9.5” inches, giving it a unique in-hand feel among vintage Stratocaster reissues, and adding exceptional comfort across its 21 medium vintage frets. Its neck is a tinted rift-sawn maple neck with an authentic “C” shaped ’59 profile. The select alder body is finished in an NOS Flash Coat Lacquer, which allows more breathability and in turn, more sustain and overall resonance. This Stratocaster also comes with vintage wiring, a 3-ply mint green pickguard, and American Vintage bridge, nut, string tree, and tuning machines so that the vintage aura of this guitar is felt all throughout it. Fender Custom Shop has truly outdone themselves with the authentic, remarkable in-hand feel and playability of the Vintage Custom 1959 Stratocaster.
