This is the Gretsch G100CE Cutaway Acoustic Electric arch top guitar. This is one of the best acoustic electric Arch tops in this price range you'll find. The G100CE model starts with a great sounding acoustic arch top and ads floating neck mounted single coil pickup. The factory fretwork, set up and neck angle on the guitar is excellent and the guitar plays beautifully. The guitar comes standard with nickel half-wound strings. It is probably best suited for straight ahead traditional jazz but could certainly be used for many styles of music. The strings can easily be changed to round-wound to yield a more contemporary tone suitable for rock and pop. Acoustically the guitar has a snappy tone with a warm woody sound and could definitely be recorded or amplified with a good microphone in addition to the electromagnetic pickup. This G100CE is a great guitar and as part of the Electromatic series it represents a great value. We are a long standing fully authorized independent Gretsch guitar dealer. This is a brand new guitar and comes with the full Gretsch Limited lifetime factory warranty.
* Though not included from the factory, we have hard cases for this model in stock and ready to ship along with your order. Please contact us for details regarding the cases we suggest for this instrument.

Why We Love Gretsch
Gretsch has been handcrafting guitars for over 135 years. The unique sound of the Gretsch semi-hollow body guitar has become synonymous with rockabilly music, one of the first styles of rock ‘n roll. Gretsch guitars are a favorite among musicians like Chet Atkins, Brian Setzer and George Harrison. At Cream City Music, we love Gretsch too, which is why we always have a huge selection of new, used and vintage Gretsch guitars in stock.
