About B Stock:

This is a B-Stock or factory blemished guitar. It is not a return or refurbished instrument and it is not used. Almost without exception the blemishes we see are nearly imperceptible in the form of minor hazing or scuffing on the finish, or a very small binding inconsistency. These blemishes are always very minor and can save you hundreds of dollars on your purchase! We inspect each B-Stock extensively before we ship and guarantee that you will be satisfied with your purchase with our return policy. If you have any questions about the nature of these "B" Stock instruments please feel free to reach out to us!

With a big, bold vintage-inspired hollow body sound, the G5420TG Electromatic '50s is an ultra-cool Limited Edition Gretsch. The guitar's arched maple top, oversized f-holes, sound-post bracing, and a big Electromatic hollow body, you get plenty of projection and sustain with a rock-solid in-hand feel. This comfort extends up the neck, which is made of maple with a standard "U" profile and set-neck construction, plus 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid hump block inlays for a little visual flair. And thanks to a fantastic set of Black Top Filter'Tron pickups, you get versatile tone that's great for everything from jazz to rock and anywhere in between. Top everything off with a Bigsby B60 tailpiece, and you get a guitar with unmistakably vintage style, playability, and tone.

Why We Love Gretsch

Gretsch has been handcrafting guitars for over 135 years. The unique sound of the Gretsch semi-hollow body guitar has become synonymous with rockabilly music, one of the first styles of rock ‘n roll. Gretsch guitars are a favorite among musicians like Chet Atkins, Brian Setzer and George Harrison. At Cream City Music, we love Gretsch too, which is why we always have a huge selection of new, used and vintage Gretsch guitars in stock.
