Description
This is the Artist Signature Gretsch G6120T-BSSMK Brian Setzer model hollow body. This guitar pays homage to Brian’s original 1959 Chet Atkins 6120, with mods including a Pinned Adjusto-Matic bridge, removed zero fret, and Gotoh locking tuners. The neck shape and radius are also a bit different from a stock ’59, with a soft “V” shape and an exceptional 9.5” to 12” compound radius fretboard. The TV Jones Classic pickups and a pinned bridge make this a versatile Gretsch capable of a great variety of sounds, from vintage style clean tones to high gain rock & roll. The semi-gloss lacquer “Smoke” finish gives this guitar the look and feel of one of Brian Setzer’s most prized guitars. And unlike most Setzer models, this one comes with a more traditional look exemplified by its nickel control knobs in place of the usual dice.
