Description
This is a brand new JHS Pedals Charlie Brown Version 4 distortion pedal. This pedal is designed to sound like a Marshall JTM45 which are known for their warm, rich character that makes Strats scream and Les Pauls scream. The V4 builds off of the V3 by keeping the foundation of the sound while offering more flexibility and options. The pedal features a volume control designed to act like a master volume control and a very versatile drive knob that will do a great bluesy overdrive at lower settings and a natural, crunchy bite at higher settings.
New to the V4 are the bass, mids and treble controls. In order to faithfully replicate a vintage Marshall, JHS decided to incorporate a full Marshall style tone stack. All three of the EQ controls act as a cut and boost remaining relatively flat in the middle.
