The Mesa Boogie Head-Track allows you to instantly swtich between two amplifiers and still utilize the same speakers and effect pedals. Its designed to maintain the integrity of your signal by minimizing cable lengths. It has a remote switch jack so you can easily switch the On/Off MIDI function or use the latching footswitch on your pedalboard. It also has an on-board footswitch to change between the two amps from the unit itself in occassional occurance that the Head-Track is used on the Pedal-Board. If you're a serious musician that is serious about reaping all the benefits of having two amplifiers, the Head-Track is the only switcher you'll ever need.
