Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear, just the way we like 'em - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surfaces scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the bass has a great, well-played look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with black dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Fender open-back nickel tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight truss rod works fine. Neck dates to '69.
Body: Solid alder body finished in black. String-thru bridge with two adjustable "barrel" saddles & original bridge cover. Large, single-ply white pickguard has aged nicely into more of a parchment color with no cracks & black finger-rest. Bass weighs 9 lbs 7.3 oz.
Pickup: Original gray-bottom single coil dates 7-11-68 with an ohm reading of 5.33K. Original pickup cover included. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Pots date to '66 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The case was relined with more of a gold interior quite some time ago. The left clasp is more or less broken & doesn't really latch anymore. The handle is broken one one side & is held on with wire. Overall the case is pretty good shape & serves its purpose well.
