Description
A vintage 1965 Epiphone EA-22RVT Mighty Mite tube combo amp in great condition. One of only a few ever produced, this amp is exceedingly rare. Its power section is fueled by a pair of EL34s--almost unheard of for a 60s American amplifier.
Sound-wise, the amp is quite clean--with only mild overdrive at the highest settings. Though, unlike other Gibson-manufactured amps of the era, the tone is quite mellow with no "ice-pick-y" highs. The amp also features a tube-driven tremolo and a rich, long spring reverb. A true anomaly of 60s American amps, this rare Epiphone is a must-have for any serious amp collector. It has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds great.
