Only 209 of these were made between 1981 & 1982 making it a truly rare guitar indeed. This one features a natural mahogany body & gorgeous flame maple neck with ebony fingerboard. The double humbuckers sound fantastic & with the coil splitter switch, the tonal range is almost limitless. Professionally set up so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age with only mild wear - minor nicks & dings; surface scratches & light finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great vibe to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Flat, wide profile maple neck with lots of pretty flame figuring & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some light wear with plenty of life in them. G&L diecast tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body in natural finish. G&L top-loading bridge with adjustable saddles & black hardware. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 8.2 oz.
Electronics: Original G&L humbuckers with 3-way toggle switch & mini switch for pickup manipulation. Dual volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Pots date to '81 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal G&G Fender hardshell case included.
