Description
The Merlin from Seagull is a one of a kind Canadian made folk instrument. Described by Seagull as a “diatonic acoustic instrument”, you can get a variety of different sounds out of it. Due to the nature of the construction of the instrument, it has a raw, barebones texture to its overall sound, making it ripe for sonic experimentation. The mahogany top aids in note sustenance while a “mustache” style Tusq bridge and three-piece maple body hold everything together. Vintage style open gear tuners make sure that this instrument will stay in tune, whether you’re experimenting with alternate tunings or playing in standard DADD. This instrument is easy to play, great for experimentation, but also extremely difficult to put down!
