This most striking aspect of this Taylor is easily its Urban Ash body wood. Urban Ash is sourced from city trees that have been selected for removal from urban settings due to weather or disease damage, public safety concerns, disruptive root systems, and simply reaching the end of their life cycle. This reclaimed wood offers a similar tone to mahogany, with an earthy, organic sound that lays a solid tonal foundation. When paired with a mahogany top, you get clear mids, crisp highs, and a satisfying low-end response that will please both fingerstyle players and strummers alike. Plus, this Taylor features V-Class bracing, for enhanced projection, resonance, sustain, and a livelier overall sound. In addition, the 324ce Builder's Edition features several player-friendly features, such as a beveled armrest and cutaway, a Curve Wing bridge, and chamfered body and fretboard edges. The 324ce Builder's Edition also includes compass inlays in faux pearl/Italian acrylic, ES2 Electronics, a Shaded Edgeburst finish, and a deluxe Taylor hardshell case.
