Description
The GT 811e is an all-new premium acoustic-electric from the folks at Taylor, expanding on their new Grand Theater body shape. The Grand Theater is essentially a scale-down Grand Orchestra body that's slightly shorter and shallower than the Grand Concert - think of the Grand Theater as a happy medium between the size of a GS Mini and a Grand Concert. The GT 811e also features Taylor's new C-Class bracing architecture. C-Class bracing features the same concepts as V-Class bracing, but with asymmetrical design elements to take full advantage of its new body shape and classic Sitka Spruce/Indian Rosewood body woods, delivering full bass, punchy mids, and crystalline highs. From its new body shape to its new bracing structure, the Taylor GT 811e is an all-new acoustic-electric that's a breath of fresh air to the Taylor 800 series.
