Description
What Makes This Guitar Special: Such a cool model with such a cool history. Created to rival the American guitar market, Tokai produced the Love Rock to go head to head with the worlds favorite singlecut, the Les Paul. A solid mahogany body and neck, absolutely smoking P90 pickups, wraparound tail piece, and vintage style tuning machines make for a classic vibe tone monster any guitar player would love. Freshly set-up with great low action and inspected top to bottom by the experts at Cream City Music, this little sweety will be coming to you ready for action right out of the box.
Cosmetic Condition: Light surface scratches on the top and slightly deeper surface scratches on the back. A couple small chips, and the most significant item to mention is a ding to the base of the guitar near the output jack (see photo). Overall, however, the guitar still appears nice and is 100% functional.
Neck: Medium profile mahogany neck with white bound rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays, black side dot markers, and vintage style tuning machines are in perfect working order. 1.65" nut width, 24.5" scale length. The truss rod has been tested and works properly.
Body: Solid mahogany body, 3 ply pickguard, chrome wraparound tailpiece. Guitar weighs 9lbs 1.2oz.
Electronics: Dual P90 pickups measure 6.11K ohms at the neck as well as 6.11K ohms at the bridge. Dual volume, dual tone controls, and three way pickup selector switch. All electronics have been tested and are working correctly.
Case: Original gig bag included.
