With a sound that has stood the test of time, a great black and red color scheme, and a comfortable maple neck- the only thing left to do was give this one a great set-up. With fresh strings and great low-action, the newest bass in your collection will be arriving at your door ready to go right out of the box.
Cosmetic Condition: Various dings, dents, scratches, and chips around the body. Notably around the bass side horn and one on the treble side of the neck pocket (see photos). There are also a few dings to the back of the neck, as well as a hairline crack near the Low E tuner on the headstock. Our luthier has examined this crack and has determined that it has been previously successfully repaired and in no way affects the stability or playability of the bass (see photo).The bass sets-up very well and makes for an outstanding player.
Neck: Comfortable medium profile one piece maple. Black dot inlays and black side dot markers. Fender open-geared tuners work perfectly. 20 frets show some wear but have lots of life left in them. 1.65” nut width, 34” scale length. Neck is straight and the truss rod has been evaluated and is functioning correctly.
Body: Solid contoured alder body. Black 3 ply pickguard, chrome 4 barrel bridge that can be strung thru or run through the top. Bass weighs 8lbs 15.9 oz.
Electronics: Fender P-Bass pickup measures 10.99K ohms. Volume and tone controls with chrome knurled knobs. All electronics have been tested and work perfectly.
Case: Padded gig bag included.
