Description
At the heart of the American Performer Jazzmaster’s design is its set of Yosemite single-coil pickups. These pickups have flat-staggered pole pieces, with shellac coating, resulting in tone that’s versatile enough for any musical endeavor while reducing feedback. These are excellent pickups that provide an extra layer of tonal versatility, and you'll only find them in the American Performers. Plus, the Greasebucket tone circuitry makes it easy to contour your high-end without affecting other frequencies. The American Performer Jazzmaster also features a modern "C" shaped neck, 22 jumbo frets, and a 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard, which all contribute to the guitar's remarkable playability and rock-solid in-hand feel. Made in Corona, California, the American Performer Jazzmaster is a remarkable instrument with wide-ranging tone and the unmatched playability you've come to expect from an authentic, USA-made Fender.
