A beautiful example of Fender's early Vintage Reissue Series. This gorgeous '57 Strat was manufactured in 1988 & finished in a classic two-tone sunburst. A trio of single coils deliver that instantly recognizable iconic sound, producing clear, bell-like tones & marvelous sustain. Professionally inspected by the experts at Cream City Music & set up by our own master luthier, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Exceptionally clean for being over 30 years old! Just some mild surface scratches.
Neck: Rounded profile maple neck with black dot inlays & 7.25" radius fingerboard. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Small headstock with "spaghetti" logo & single string tree. Vintage-style tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition. Neck date reads 09/20/88.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in Two-Tone Sunburst. Vintage-style tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles. Original trem arm & bridge cover are included. Single-ply white pickguard & trem cover. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 9.4 oz.
Pickups: Original single coils with staggered poles. Bridge - 5.76K ohms; Middle - 5.79K ohms; Neck - 5.75K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls with white skirted knobs. The guitar is currently fitted with a 5-way selector switch, but the optional 3-way is included. Pots date to '88 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original tweed hardshell case included with all the paperwork & accessories.
