Description
This unique ebony J-200 model commemorates the career of the charismatic, golden-voiced performer widely known as "The King of Rock & Roll." It is a replica of a customized guitar in Elvis Presley's personal collection of Gibson Super Jumbos. This replica was authorized by Graceland, and only a limited quantity of 250 were made. This particular guitar is number 57 of 250. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: There are a few repaired top cracks, the most significant one starting from behind the bridge & extending all the way to the edge. The other two extend from the soundhole. The cracks are stable & do not affect playability or sound quality. In addition to that there are various surface scratches throughout the guitar.
Neck: Maple neck with white binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl custom crown inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Elvis Presley engraved truss rod cover has a small chip in the top. Mother of pearl Gibson & Crown inlays. Bound headstock & Gibson diecast tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound jumbo body. Solid spruce top with rosewood bridge & mother of pearl inlays. 2-ply large black pickguard with mother of pearl crown inlay. Solid maple back & sides with checkered center strip. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 5 lbs 6.2 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with original COA.
