Description
Produced in Gibson's Custom Shop for about ten years, between 1994 & 2004, the Les Paul Elegant features a highly flamed maple top with gorgeous abalone fretboard inlays. This particular model comes with a clear pickguard which the guitar has not been drilled for yet. Clean condition & professionally set up ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition - very clean & still like new with only some mild surface scratches.
Neck: Slim Taper mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with gorgeous abalone trapezoid inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Grover Rotomatic tuners & Gibson Custom logo on the back of the headstock. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions properly.
Body: Solid mahogany body with flame maple top in Firemist Red finish & cream binding. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge with nickel hardware. Clear pickguard is included, but not mounted. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 3 oz.
Electronics: Dual humbuckers with cream bezels. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with pre-pack checklist.
