Description
The Gibson ES-345 boasts a number of aesthetic enhancements over the flagship ES-335. Crafted with a maple center block & quarter-sawn Adirondack spruce bracing, players will be impressed by the lightweight feel & expanded range of tonal capabilities. The body is wrapped in multi-ply binding & the bound fingerboard has Split Parallelogram inlays that are distinctive to this model in the ES series. The guitar is equipped with a variety of high-end appointments like a hand-wired control assembly with Orange Drop capacitors, Gibson's new Calibrated T-Type humbuckers, Vintage Deluxe style tuners & a lightweight aluminum ABR-1 bridge & Stop Bar tailpiece anchored with steel thumb wheels & studs. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various tiny nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches, but really nice shape overall. The plastic wrap is still over the pickguard.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Medium Jumbo frets are clean with no wear. Gibson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge. 5-ply black pickguard & nickel hardware. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 0.2 oz.
Electronics: Gibson Calibrated T-Type Lead & Rhythm humbuckers with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" reflector knobs. Hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The previous owner painted the word "Clover" on the outside of the case & there is a tiny tear on the tolex.
