Produced for only a short period of time from about the mid '80s through the early '90s, this gorgeous J-30 was made towards the end of the run. This gorgeous Square Shoulder dreadnought features a solid spruce top in sunburst finish & sports an ultra-comfy V-shaped mahogany neck that plays like a dream up & down the fretboard. Thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music, this lovely dreadnought is ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused & showing only gentle play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches. Overall the guitar looks great & sounds amazing!
Neck: V-shaped mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with only a tiny bit of wear & tons of life in them. Gibson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Square Should dreadnought featuring a solid spruce top in sunburst finish with multi-layer binding. Rosewood bridge & end pins. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid mahogany back & sides with cream binding. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 5.7 oz. The guitar has an absolutely gorgeous voice - very warm & rich sounding with wonderful sound projection - very loud!
Case: Original hardshell case included along with the original warranty card/paperwork.
