Description
Amazingly clean for its age & just recently acquired from the original owner who took exceptionally good care of the guitar. He basically kept it cased up for most of its life & even the original warranty card is still in the case. An early Bozeman factory J-45 featuring a V-shaped neck which is not common for this model & finished in a gorgeous Heritage Cherry Sunburst. A truly superb example that produces a warm, rich tone & plays like a dream.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall - some surface scratches from strumming, but overall the guitar is quite clean & looks great!
Neck: V-shaped mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Gibson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, slope shoulder dreadnought with solid spruce top in cherry sunburst finish. Rosewood bridge & pins along with end pin. Large tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid mahogany back & sides. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 7.4 oz.
