True to historic specs, the Les Paul Junior Double Cut is equipped with a non-compensated wrap-around bridge. For enhanced performance & modern playing styles, a modern compensated "lightning bar" style bridge is included in the case for improved intonation and string alignment. The Junior is a guitar known for being nearly perfect in its simplicity, with everything you need to rock & no frills to get in your way. However, some players underestimate this legendary guitar's versatility. While this single-pickup solidbody was originally designed as a student model, the number of different tones that are available simply by adjusting the position of the volume & tone knobs & the position of your picking hand is nearly unlimited & has resulted in the enthusiastic embrace of the model by countless professional musicians across genres & generations. The guitar also offers unimpeded access to the entire length of the fretboard, including the upper frets, making it a great choice for lead guitarists, too. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Some mild surface scratches, but excellent condition overall.
Neck: Slim Taper mahogany neck with white side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with acrylic dot inlays. Medium Jumbo frets are clean with no wear. Gibson Deluxe tuners with white buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 2/3" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double cutaway, solid mahogany body with 4-ply tortoise pickguard. Wrap-around bridge with nickel hardware. Guitar weighs a delightful 5 lbs 15.9 oz & is exceptionally resonant!
Electronics: P-90 single coil with black "dog ear" cover. Master volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. Hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitor. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with accessories.
