This fabulous Duane Eddy model is a single cutaway hollowbody offering classic styling with a full, resonant sound that combines features based directly on his original 1957 6120, such as bound oversized f holes. Clean condition & professionally set up ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape overall for its age with signs of mild play wear - light surface scratches & some finish checking.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl hump block inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Bound headstock with horseshoe inlay. Gold diecast tuners with "G" Arrow brand. 1 11/16" width brass nut; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound hollowbody with bound, oversized F-holes. This is an early version, so the bracing inside is not trestle. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with Space Controls bridge on an ebony base. Clear plexi pickguard & gold hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 4.8 oz.
Electronics: DynaSonic single coils with 3-way toggle switch. Master volume & tone controls along with individual pickup volume controls. "G" Arrow knobs & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. There's a bit of separation in the top lid towards the bottom of the case.
