The Gretsch G2655T Streamliner Center Block Jr. Double-Cut is a bold semi-hollow guitar with an extensive sonic palette. If you've been seeking that coveted Gretsch tone but want a modern axe that can keep up with your needs, then you need to check out Gretsch's Streamliner Jr.
Featuring a downsized laminated maple body, the Streamliner Jr. projects a bright, punchy tone and is much more transportable than its big brother. Its lightweight spruce center block not only mitigates unwanted feedback during performances but also reinforces the top of the body for extra durability and sustain. Players will also appreciate the G2655T's Thin "U" shaped neck and smooth laurel fingerboard that make rapid-fire chord changes and fiery riffing a breeze to pull off.
Equipped with a pair of high-output Broad'Tron BT-2S humbuckers, the Streamliner Jr. has a dynamic voice with a much tighter bass response than previous models. Churning out robust lows, pristine highs, and a throaty midrange, the Streamliner Jr. sounds great no matter how you play it. And for added tone-shaping, the G2655T has neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone control, a master volume control, and three-way pickup switching.
