Brian Setzer's unmistakable style has left a lasting legacy for guitar players far and wide. And with Gretsch's all-new G6120T-HR Hot Rod, you get a brand new, eye-catching Extreme Coolant Green finish, top-notch hardware and specs tailored to Setzer's preferences for the best possible playability. This guitar's single-cutaway hollow body features '59 trestle bracing and oversized f-holes for exceptional resonance and projection. Its neck features a 9.5" to 12" compound radius rosewood fingerboard (with rolled edges) for comfortable chording and easy high-fret riffing and bending. Perhaps the most striking difference between this guitar and most Setzer models is its simplified electronics, with bare-bones “Hot Rod” controls. With just a three-position pickup toggle switch and a Master Volume control with a treble bleed circuit, you spend less time adjusting knobs and more time playing. The guitar’s dual TV Jones Brian Setzer Signature Filter’Tron pickups provides the Setzer sound, with punchy lows and a hotter output for more gain-friendly playing while still retaining enough tonal versatility to deliver vintage cleans. And thanks to Gotoh locking tuners, a Delrin nut, and Bigsby B6C vibrato tailpiece, playability, tuning stability, and intonation are rock-solid. This is an exceptional hollow body guitar and we’re excited to share it with you!

Why We Love Gretsch
Gretsch has been handcrafting guitars for over 135 years. The unique sound of the Gretsch semi-hollow body guitar has become synonymous with rockabilly music, one of the first styles of rock ‘n roll. Gretsch guitars are a favorite among musicians like Chet Atkins, Brian Setzer and George Harrison. At Cream City Music, we love Gretsch too, which is why we always have a huge selection of new, used and vintage Gretsch guitars in stock.
