Description
Despite its less than perfect condition, this is a lovely sounding, early L-09FM with a gorgeous voice that projects exceptionally well, delivering a shimmering, punchy tone. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: There are two repaired top cracks that were professionally glued & cleated, just behind the bridge. The clear pickguard is peeling up on one corner & there's some "milkyness" in the finish on the front of the headstock. Aside from that, the guitar is in pretty good shape overall - various minor nicks & dings; scratches & some mild finish wear.
Neck: Mahogany neck with ivoroid binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Schaller tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound body in natural finish. Solid spruce top with ebony bridge & classical-style rosette. Solid flame maple back & sides. There are no electronics or strap buttons. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 4.4 oz.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included. There's a tear in the tolex.
