Since 2008 luthier Lance Lerman has been building professional grade solidbody electric guitars in his Los Angeles workshop. This Carl Verheyen Special dubbed Kamea is an ultra cool S-Style featuring superb playability & tone. Professionally set up with fresh string s & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Intentionally "aged" to give it that mild "vintage" look - various minor nicks, dents & dings; scratches & some weather checking. Overall the guitar looks super cool & has a great vibe to it.
Neck: Nicely rounded & somewhat chunky maple neck with light tint. 9.5" radius dark rosewood fingerboard with clay dot inlays. 6105 frets are in great shape with no wear. Vintage-style tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in a dark metallic blue. Vintage-style tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles & trem arm included. 3-ply white pickguard & single-ply white trem cover with Carl Verheyen engraved signature. Nickel hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 1 oz.
Electronics: LsL '50s Saticoy hand-wound single coils. Bridge - 6.63K ohms; Middle - 5.42K ohms; Neck - 5.42K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls with 5-way selector switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: G&G hardshell case included.
