The Martin 000-28M Eric Clapton features a solid Carpathian spruce top & solid Madagascar rosewood back & sides with a genuine mahogany Mod V-shaped neck. Martin only produced 461 of these beautiful, handcrafted guitars with Eric's signature on the inside label. This gorgeous guitar is a testament to the quality luthiery Martin has consistently been recognized for & features elegant appointments, such as pearl inlays & a rosette with an agoya pearl herringbone center ring. Professionally set up & ready to play!
Cosmetic Condition: Superb condition - exceptionally clean with only some very light surface scratches.
Neck: V-shaped mahogany neck with white side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone & mother of pearl diamond inlays. Eric Clapton inlaid signature in the 20th fret. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Waverly Butterbean tuners in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" width bone nut; 24.9" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: OOO 14-fret body with ivoroid-bound top & back. Solid Carpathian Spruce top in sunburst finish. Ebony bridge with bone end pins & saddle. Tortoise pickguard & mother of pearl Herringbone rosette. Solid Madagascar Rosewood back & sides with zig zag center strip. The back & sides are stunning & show off some really gorgeous variegation in the wood. The inside label has Eric's signature & is number 321 of 461. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs a delightful 4 lbs 6.7 oz.
