Description
What makes this guitar special: The Martin 000-30 Authentic 1919 is a detail-oriented recreation of the incredibly rare 1919 original. Its Adirondack Spruce top and bracing work together with a Madagascar Rosewood back and sides, and some stunning finish work. The top features Martin's renowned Vintage Tone System, which torrefies the Adirondack Spruce to sound like a well-played, broken-in 1919 original. The back and sides feature a vintage gloss finish, which further its near 100-year old authenticity. These woods, VTS, and 000 body shape all make for a punchy, yet harmonically rich sound that's great for any playing style, with the spruce top dealing out crisp highs and mids while the Madagascar Rosewood delivers booming low end definition. Plus, in addition to being a great tonewood, the Madagascar Rosewood back and sides sport gorgeous figuring. This, along with ivoroid binding, a black ebony fingerboard and authentic snowflake inlays make the 000-30 Authentic 1919 not only sound the part, but look it too. From its period-correct hardware to its dense harmonic overtones and exceptional looks, the 000-30 Authentic 1919 is a piece of Martin history that any player can appreciate.
