Based on the D-14 platform, the Martin DCX1RAE is a full-bodied Dreadnought with the added benefit of a cutaway body shape and Fishman Sonitone electronics, all in an affordable package. Built with a Sitka Spruce top and Rosewood patterned high pressure laminate back and sides, it still has that great Martin sound without the added expense of solid woods. Able to produce a dynamic tone acoustically, this guitar is also ready to fire up at the insert of a cable. This guitar will exceed your expectations with its modest but potent assembly without breaking the bank.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent overall condition. This Martin has some small surface scratches, but these are few and far between. Plus, this guitar comes with fresh strings and low action, courtesy of Cream City Music's signature setup.
Neck: Rust Birch laminated neck with Performing Artist shape and High Performance taper. White Corian nut with FSC Certified richlite fingerboard, 25.4" scale length, 1 3/4" nut width, and white plastic inlays.
Body: Sitka spruce top with X bracing, HPL rosewood pattern back/sides, and D-14 fret cutaway shape. FSC Certified richlite modern belly, drop-in saddle bridge.
Electronics: Fishman Sonitone electronics.
