What Makes This Guitar Special: Nova American guitars, not to be confused with the low-end Japanese maker of the same name, were very high end, excellently crafted instruments. On par with any superb quality super Strat, this model features a sleek contoured mahogany body with a fast radiused ebony fingerboard, a double locking trem, and killer sounding active EMG pickups. For much less than an American made Charvel or Jackson, this is an exceptionally well made and great playing guitar. Cosmetic Condition: Chips, scratches, dings, and honest playwear throughout. This guitar has certainly seen use, but it sets-up and plays great and makes for a fantastic shredder. The trem bar is missing and is unfortunately not included.
Neck: Very slim maple with an ebony fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays, white side dot markers, a string retaining bar, and single string tree. The Grover tuners are in perfect working order and the guitar features a locking nut that has been shimmed with brass. 1.6875” nut width, 26” scale length. The neck is straight and the truss rod has been tested and is functioning correctly.
Body: Contoured solid mahogany. Licensed Floyd Rose Tremolo, 3 ply black rear trem cover, black control cavity cover. Guitar weighs 7lbs 8.8oz.
Electronics: A trio of EMG pickups each measure 15.70K ohms in the neck, middle, and bridge positions. Master volume and dual tone controls with black knurled knobs, 5 way pickup selector switch. All electronics have been tested and are working properly.
Case: Gig bag included.
