The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar. This iconic instrument was the first model that Paul Reed Smith brought to the public at PRS Guitars’ first Winter NAMM show in 1985 and has been a top seller ever since. Played by internationally touring artists, gigging musicians, and aspiring players, the Custom 24 features PRS’s patented Gen III tremolo system and PRS 59/09 pickups with volume and tone controls and a 5-way blade switch. Pro set up included & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall - there are a couple of tiny nicks/chips in the finish & various mild surface scratches, but for the most part the guitar is very clean.
Neck: Pattern Regular mahogany neck with cream side-dots. 10" radius rosewood fingerboard with abalone bird inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. PRS Phase III Locking tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body with carved figured maple Ten Top in Root Beer finish. The top shows off some absolutely stunning flame figuring! PRS Patented Tremolo bridge with nickel hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 6.2 oz.
Electronics: PRS 59/09 humbuckers with cream bezels. Master volume & tone controls with 5-way selector switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with original hang tags/paperwork. There is some wear along the bottom of the case, but not too bad.
