Most Taylor 612-CE models feature a Venetian cutaway, but this one is unique in that it sports a Florentine cutaway with gorgeous abalone purfling. This is an earlier model with a Fishman Prefix Stereo Blender rather than the more common Taylor Expression System. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition - very clean overall with only some mild surface scratches. In short, great shape for its age.
Neck: Maple neck with white binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Bound headstock with ebony veneer. Gold Grover Rotomatic tuners in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Grand Concert size body with Florentine cutaway. Multi-layer binding with abalone top purfling. Ebony bridge & end pins with abalone dot inlays. Compensated saddle, tortoise pickguard & abalone rosette. Solid flame maple back & sides with thin black center strip. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 12.4 oz.
