Description
Cosmetic Condition: Super cool vintage vibe with that well-played look. Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Some areas of finish wear were amateurly touched up with some home paint. They're a bit noticeable, but not too bad. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina. It's been professionally set up by us with a fresh pack of strings & low action. Wonderful resonance & sustain make this one a real keeper!
Neck: Chunky mahogany neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Original frets have been filed down a bit & are in great shape with no wear. Newer tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, one-piece, solid mahogany body. The back of the body shows more of the cherry finish, whereas the top has faded more to brown. The 3-ply black pickguard is unoriginal. Tremolo tailpiece with compensated nickel bridge. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 11 oz.
Pickup: P-90 single coil - 6.15K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. Pots date to '63. All electronics are original & in good working condition.
Case: Newer Gibson hardshell case included.
